Building confidence outside the home
Community participation supports help NDIS participants across Perth — South of the River join everyday activities with less stress. All Rounder Care plans outings around your goals — whether that is catching a Transperth service, visiting family, attending a local club, or practising money handling in a supermarket.
We talk through sensory needs, mobility aids, rest breaks, and the quickest accessible routes before we leave the driveway so you know what to expect.
What is involved
Supports can include travel to and from venues, queuing assistance, reading signage, note-taking during appointments, and debriefing afterwards so decisions feel clear. We can shadow you at first, then gradually step back as your confidence grows.
For group settings we coordinate with organisers where you want us to, respect your right to privacy, and follow venue rules such as bag checks or companion card policies without drawing unnecessary attention.
What to expect on a community shift
Workers meet you with agreed clothing for the weather, confirm the itinerary, and check mobility equipment is secure before moving off. We carry emergency contacts you approve, keep phones charged, and choose drop-off points that minimise kerb crossings where that matters to you.
If a session needs to end early because of fatigue or weather, we adjust calmly and help you reorganise transport home.
Three clear benefits
- Outings planned around realistic energy levels and local travel times.
- Workers trained to uphold NDIS Practice Standards for respect and dignity.
- Flexible scheduling when events run late or plans change at short notice.
Questions families often ask
Can a support worker help me use Transperth with a wheelchair or scooter?
Yes, when your plan funds this support. We check accessible timetables, use ramps and lifts as provided by the operator, and follow Transperth rules for mobility aids so boarding stays safe for you and other passengers.
How does All Rounder Care document community supports for plan reviews?
We keep shift notes you request — locations visited, goals practised, and any follow-up actions — so your planner or local area coordinator can see how funding translated into real-world participation.
What happens if a public event is cancelled after we have booked support?
Call us as soon as you know. We will offer alternative activities that still meet your goals where possible, or reschedule so your funding is not spent on a wasted trip across town.
